Shannon Scott, FNP-C

Shannon Scott, FNP-C is certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Shannon joins the practice with 23 years of experience as a registered nurse. She started her career in labor and delivery, then moved to the operating room and spent 19 years in surgery. She is a graduate of Chamberlain University, where she received both her Bachelor of Science in nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Shannon is a veteran of the U.S. Navy. She grew up moving around the world with her family in the Air Force and then again with her husband in the Navy and Air Force. Shannon now lives in Alexandria with her husband Ernie, daughter Skylar, 4 dogs (Frazzle, Nacho, Pumpkin, Phoebe), and cat (Luda).
