Insurance Accepted

Northern Virginia Pediatric Associates participates with the insurance companies listed below*. If you do not see your insurance company on our list, please call them directly to verify participation. We ask that you pay your co-pay at the time of service. Please verify your insurance information and contact information at each time of service. Any updates or changes in insurance or contact information should be communicated to our insurance department as soon as they occur to prevent filing and billing errors. We do not have family accounts. Please be sure to communicate updates for each child individually. We file primary insurance only; the participant should file any secondary insurance.

*In order to keep unnecessary billing costs to a minimum, co-pays, administrative costs (school/camp/sports forms, schedule II refills, transfer of records, etc.) and lab fees are due at the time of service. Balances billed for non-payment at the time of service will be charged a $10.00 fee to cover billing costs. In addition, to also cover billing costs, multiple billings for balances not paid within the first billing cycle will also incur a $10.00 fee per billing cycle.

We contract with numerous insurance companies and it is impossible for us to know the requirements of each individual policy. It is your responsibility to know the coverage benefits and limitations of your insurance contract. Your insurance company may not cover certain tests and or procedures. Please be particularly aware of your well visit coverage. Your insurance company may limit the number of well visits allowed in a calendar year. Please also note that immunizations, including the flu vaccination, can only be coded as V codes and may be considered a well visit by certain insurance companies. Should you have any questions regarding your insurance contract, please contact your insurance company directly.
